Joyce A. Bulgrin earned her bachelor of science degree in medical technology from UW-Eau Claire and her master’s degree in health care administration from Central Michigan University. Professionally, she has clinical laboratory experience in hospitals in Texas, Illinois, and Wisconsin. She has taught at Amarillo College in Amarillo, Texas, and Illinois Central College in East Peoria, Illinois. She has been an instructor and adviser in the School of Health Care Professions at UW-Stevens Point since 1990. She has taught lecture and laboratory classes in most areas of clinical laboratory science with major emphasis on medical microbiology, parasitology, and mycology. She has over 20 years’ experience teaching medical terminology, including the development and presentation of online hybrid courses on the subject.
