Hua Dai is an assistant professor in the Information Systems department at UW-La Crosse. She received her PhD in information systems from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, a master of engineering at the Technical University of Denmark in Copenhagen, and a bachelor’s degree from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi’an, China. She has been involved in a variety of teaching activities at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and UW-La Crosse. Currently she is teaching courses in information systems for business management, data communication and networking, and telecommunication decisions. Her research interests include electronic mediated environment, electronic commerce, mobile commerce, outsourcing, telecommunication policies and standards, privacy and security, and cross-cultural studies. Her research has been published or accepted for presentation in DATABASE for Advances in Information Systems, Journal of Computer Information Systems, Telecommunication Policy, the International Conference on Information Systems, the Americas Conference on Information Systems, and other international conferences.
